This is my second most used rub (Basic Rub is my #1).  I use it on pork and beef usually as this has more sugar.

This is a spin off on the Salmon Rub.  All the ingredients are the same just the amounts are different.


1 cup Brown Sugar

3 tbsp Paprika

3 tbsp Chili Powder

3 tbsp Garlic Powder

3 tsp Salt

1 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

1 1/2 tsp Ground Coriander

1 1/2 tsp Cumin

I usually make 4-5 times this recipe and store it.  I would not recommend storing it for weeks on end but I usually will use this amount in less than 2 weeks.  Also, remember that this contains a lot of sugar so what the cooking as it can burn easily.
